I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix 4 O: p! J2 z3 }9 E' [9 X: w6 N5 J2 N1 l. Q% e Q" N, ~6 Z) s1 }
